Chalk & Brushes
Frank Endo Chalk Blocks (1lb)
Best bang for the buck, clean climbing chalk. Great quality and doesn’t have additional fillers which can show up on the nice gray sandstone after rain. Other lower cost chalks end up displaying those nasty rusty streaks.
BuyFriction Labs Chalk
Another high quality mag chalk. Love the Bam Bam for the chunks to crush up pre-send and for post failure stress relief.
BuyFriction Lab Liquid Chalks
The 2 in 1 pack has the original formula and the new formula. The long lasting formula is AMAZING for high humidity days. Chalk stays on for a whole boulder!
BuyLapis Brush
The classic small brush. A must have, just be careful with the pressure on the brush neck.
BuyGeneric Medium to Large Brushes
Cheap and larger than Lapis hold brushes, works on most hold sizes and a good all around gym brush. A cheap addition to the quiver. A few different brands but like them all. Super cheap 2 packs from Two Stones and Dyno Climbing always floating around the chalk bucket.
BuySkin Care
Callus Sanders
Some perfect sized callus sanders. This one enhances calluses rather than blasting them away. Here is another one if you prefer to have heavy skin reduction.
BuyRhino Skin Dry Spray
Helps keep hands from sweating skin antiperspirant. The go to to get ready for the season.
BuyRhino Skin Tip Juice
A high strength version of Dry that needs to be applied less often. A beginners antihydral without the problem of overly dry skin.
BuyHeaters, Fans & Bugs
Makita Fan
No brainer to stay cool on hot days, moves a lot of air. Fits flat in a pad. Also a weapon to keep bugs off you come summer. Doesn’t come with batteries so grab these generic ones here.
BuySmall Crag Fan
A great companion to the Makita. Can clip it to something nearby or a pole. Very compact and long lasting battery and easy to charge via USB.
BuyThermacell
A.K.A “The Game Changer”
The only thing that works for mosquitos, black flies and other forest flying hell. A must have for summer. Runs on the small camp fuels which makes it easy to run all day. Each pad lasts realistically 3hrs. Make sure to get the refill kits without the small propane found here.
LED Lights
Extend the day light for some night sessions. 4 of these usually work well enough to light an entire boulder and are a lot better than climbing with a headlamp on your head.
BuyWarmup & Recovery
Squeezies
Hand squeezies to get the blood flowing in the hands. This one is kinda ridiculous but works well.
BuyPenguin Fingers
Believe it or not these are awesome to help hand recovery after a day of hard crimping. Soothing.
BuyTiger Tail Roller
A must have for the shoulders and legs after a long day of tromping in the woods. Works well on the neck.
BuyThera Cane Massager
Classic and one of the most effective back and neck tool, stop using your friends and get your own.
US Made in Denver, Colorado.
BuyThera Gun
120000 rpm of muscle tenderizing power. Don’t think about taping a brush on. We tried and didn’t work….
BuyGear Organization
Bags
