Approach
20 min hike near Stony Fork, PA Directions Map
Approach notes
Hike past the gate along the old logging road. Follow it south for 20 minutes (1.0 mile) until you peak the first hill (a very gradual rise). When the trail flattens out, watch closely to the right for the obvious cut path in towards some waist high rock. There may be some flagging tape. If the gate is open (deer season), drive the road instead and park at the cut path, making sure there is enough room for others to easily pass.
Take this path, staying right of the rock. Continue up on top of the exposed bedrock and winding through the mountain laurel along rock ridges for 2 minutes (100 yards) you’ll come out on top of the crag. Everything is closely located from here.
