Rock Run: Miners Run

Miners Run is a bouldering area at Rock Run in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, near Ralston. It has 21 problems from v1 to v8 across 4 boulders, with a 8-minute approach.

Pennsylvania riverbed bouldering. A handful of water polished boulders in a beautiful creek carved gorge. Seasonal high water flow may either alter landings or make boulders inaccessible. Note: Photos taken during high water as reference of what’s accessible during the wet months. Typically driest late Summer through early Spring.

High Noon Boulder A is immediately up a herd path along the west edge of the creek. Cross the bridge and head up the hill to connect with Old Miners Trail. Hike 6 minutes (480 yards) until you see a cluster of boulders in the creek. Follow a herd path safely down the hill for 2 minutes (100 yards) until you reach Sleekstack D.

Micro approach

During low water seasons you can navigate in the creek to all the boulders. Otherwise stick to the side from the trail and take care on the wet stone.
